Today the Taste Buds art project starts in Aberdeen Market at Pad Thai cafe. I have been working at this project together with the artists Jay Koh and Chu Yuan and after cutting and painting a lot of little paper tongues( as interaction materials ) , this is finally happening .
This involves interacting with the public while discussing about taste and what memories they evoke to people.
I will be there taking photograps which hopefully are going to end in a final exhibition about how was the project going.
Why call something a bitter-sweet experience?
Does taste rest only on our tongues?
SWEET, SOUR, BITTER, SALTY, PUNGENT...What does each taste evoke to you?
